Staff Engineer - DFI
What you will do:
Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry
Lead DFI strategies.
Perform in-depth DFM, DFI, and DFA reviews
Process automation
Apply strong GD&T knowledge and DFI for First time right product.
Contribute in PPAP activity & Design Transfer
Contribute to compliant, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes
Create NPI development, PPAP, DFI and validation Strategies
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & 8+ years of work experienceStrong Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry
Strong experience in DFI.
Ability to think out of the box and challenge status quo for process optimization.
Exposure to sophisticated inspection equipment in medical device development
A proactive, risk-based mindset with hands-on process development experience
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced innovation environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- • Strong technical ability to develop and optimize designs for mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies incorporating DFM principles
- • Strong technical ability in creating engineering drawings, models, applying GD&T and CAE tool
- • Adept at applying knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to product design
- • Ability to communicate moderate complexity plans and technical information to team members
