What you will do:

  • Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry

  • Lead DFI strategies.

  • Perform in-depth DFM, DFI, and DFA reviews

  • Process automation

  • Apply strong GD&T knowledge and DFI for First time right product.

  • Contribute in PPAP activity & Design Transfer

  • Contribute to compliant, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes

  • Create NPI development, PPAP, DFI and validation Strategies


What you will need:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & 8+ years of work experienceStrong Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry

  • Strong experience in DFI.

  • Ability to think out of the box and challenge status quo for process optimization.

  • Exposure to sophisticated inspection equipment in medical device development

  • A proactive, risk-based mindset with hands-on process development experience

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced innovation environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • • Strong technical ability to develop and optimize designs for mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies incorporating DFM principles
  • • Strong technical ability in creating engineering drawings, models, applying GD&T and CAE tool
  • • Adept at applying knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to product design
  • • Ability to communicate moderate complexity plans and technical information to team members

Travel Percentage: 20%
