Sr Tax Accountant

Stamford, Connecticut April 14, 2026 Full Time Workday

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of the Company’s consolidated and combined state tax returns including:
    • Review and analysis of state apportionment data from business unit tax binders
    • Maintain nexus study analysis book in good order to maintain registrations and withdrawals, as well as filing positions
    • Review separate company P.L. 86-272 state returns
    • Manage state tax payments in collaboration with Treasury
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the Company’s consolidated federal tax return including:
    • Certain Schedule M-3 adjustments
    • Separate entity and sub-consolidated pro forma Forms 1120
    • Supporting schedules and disclosures
  • Maintain all state-related applications within OneSource tax compliance software, and administer OneSource tax calendar
  • Prepare and review state quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions
  • Oversee annual report filings and Ohio/Oregon CAT
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end federal and state tax provision calculations
  • Respond to state and local tax notices and assist with federal, state, and local tax audits as needed

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of corporate tax experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. An advanced degree and/or CPA is desirable
  • Experience with federal and/or state tax return preparation
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently with limited supervision
