Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Job Scope
• Influence Product Service Life Cycle (SLC) to give features that will optimize KLA’s service business: retrofit, calibrations/diagnostics, Cost of Service, reliability, PM optimization, Intellectual Property (IP) protection.
• Build solid expertise in overall system operation, system integration, and system calibrations/diagnostics.
• Able to step into beta and sustain product's critical customer issues, analyze data from various sources, and work with Software and Platform Engineering to provide a detailed plan of action (POA).
• Demonstrate learnings and knowledge across the Product Support Organization through training classes, individual coaching, documents, and updating other knowledge bring together tools.
• Hands-on work for integration of Alpha/Beta systems/retrofits, including performing serviceability validation.
• Passionate about traveling! Required onsite support during beta testing, and critical issue support, installations/upgrades.
• Support service alert meetings and POA development. Bring together and document BKM and other improvements into knowledge databases or systems.
• Perform detailed analysis to resolve a wide range of issues in creative as well as practical ways to drive standardization.
• Passionate about applying AI/ML technologies to solve real‑world engineering problems, with hands‑on experience and strong interest in contributing to AI‑driven projects.
• Ability to travel domestic & foreign up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications
- Capital Equipment experience in KLA Instruments or similar Semiconductor Industry
- Fluent understanding these tools: Python, Power Bi, SQL Server, Excel
- Mechatronics background

Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
- Looking for highly motivated individual with hands-on experience designing, building, documenting and/or solving problems with electro/mechanical assemblies.
- Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, fabrication methods.
- Results-oriented and driven to excel.
- Strong analytic, data analysis skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficient in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and to take a leadership role when needed.
