Sr. Product Designer

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer with 7+ years of experience designing user‑centered authentication and identity verification products. In this role, you will lead product design from early discovery through delivery and iteration. You will raise the quality bar for design, partnering closely with product and engineering across mobile, web/browsers, clients and platform to deliver meaningful outcomes. What You’ll Do
Understand & Advocate for Users, Problems, and Quality
- Champion the user throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring user needs remain central to decision‑making
- Conduct and/or guide user research including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and contextual inquiry
- Synthesize research findings into personas, user journeys, problem statements, and opportunity areas
- Translate user needs and insights into clear, actionable design requirements
- Validate assumptions through testing, feedback, and data; push for clarity, simplicity, and high design quality in all experiences
- Proactively identify usability risks and experience gaps that could impact product health
User Experience & Interaction Design
- Design how the product works and feels end‑to‑end across workflows and touchpoints
- Create user flows, task flows, and information architecture that reduce friction and cognitive load
- Balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraints
- Ensure experiences are intuitive, efficient, consistent, and scalable
- Design screens, layouts, and interaction patterns for complex product areas
- Apply strong visual design fundamentals including typography, color, spacing, and hierarchy
- Produce wireframes, mockups, and high‑fidelity designs
- Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are met or exceeded
Prototyping & Testing
- Collaborate in pre‑planning new work, features, and enhancements
- Rapidly explore ideas and validate solutions before development
- Deliver low‑ and high‑fidelity prototypes to communicate concepts and test behaviors
- Run usability tests and interpret both qualitative and quantitative results
- Iterate designs based on data, user feedback, and beta usage
- Validate outcomes against defined user and business goals
Measure, Maintain & Evolve
- Create, maintain, and evolve reusable components and design patterns
- Contribute to and help manage design systems and experience guidelines
- Promote consistency and quality across platforms and features
- Analyze user behavior and feedback post‑release
- Define and track UX success metrics in partnership with product and analytics teams
- Continuously refine experiences based on insights and experimentation
- Support A/B testing and learning‑driven iteration
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design for digital products
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end design thinking and real‑world impact across mobile, browser, portals, and client applications.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with product and engineering partners
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
- A passion for quality, usability, and continuous improvement working on SaaS, enterprise, or platform products
- Superior skills with Figma, Aha!, Confluence a must. Jira, Pendo, nice to have.
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis or major in Design (Graphic, Interaction, Communication, Visual), Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX) or User‑Centered Design
Note:
This job is remote eligible in Europe or 4 days onsite at our Belgrade, Serbia Office.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at HYPR. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other HYPRions. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at HYPR to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
