Sr. Embedded Solutions Engineer - Customer Enablement

Seattle, Washington, United States March 7, 2026

Hubble Network was founded with the intention of delivering on the promise of what Internet-of-Things (IoT) was supposed to be. We're building a global Bluetooth® network dedicated to machine-to-machine connectivity. We differentiate ourselves as the first modem-less and gateway-less, direct-to-satellite network from off-the-shelf Bluetooth® Low Energy chips. Hubble is ideal for applications in logistics, AgTech, and maritime where economies of scale for volume consumer and enterprise asset tracking is a priority. Our goal is to be the first billion-endpoint-connected network in the world.

Hubble is an early-stage, venture-backed startup supported by some of the best investors in the world. In their previous lives, the founding team has been successful in raising $100s of millions in venture funding, developing the Amazon Sidewalk network, launching billions of dollars of space assets, and leading their teams to successful exits, both through acquisition and IPO. We are now looking to bring on talented team members who are the best at what they do to help us make Hubble a reality for the world.

Hubble is building a global Bluetooth® Low Energy + satellite network that connects devices from anywhere on Earth. As we scale, we're seeking a mission-driven Embedded Solutions Engineer to lead integration efforts with enterprise customers. You’ll serve as the technical bridge between Hubble’s SDK and our partners’ diverse hardware platforms—enabling rapid onboarding, resolving device-side integration issues, and accelerating time-to-value.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role with high visibility and impact. You’ll work closely with customers, product managers, and core SDK developers to drive successful dual-stack bring-up (Bluetooth® Low Energy+ satellite) on constrained embedded platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Engineer to own the technical relationship with our enterprise customers at the firmware level. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will serve as the bridge between Hubble's core platform and the embedded engineering teams integrating our SDK into their products.

You will lead embedded-level onboarding, accelerate customer integrations, and directly translate field learnings into reusable tools, reference applications, and documentation that improve the experience for every customer that follows. This role requires deep technical credibility — you will be working peer-to-peer with experienced firmware engineers —combined with the communication skills to guide less-experienced teams to successful outcomes.

This is a full-time position based in Seattle, WA.

An Ideal Candidate Has
A Sense of Urgency: Lead projects from concept to reality, rapidly and effectively
High Learning Agility: Love to learn; have a grounded approach to recognizing your weaknesses and take the initiative to brush up on and sharpen your engineering foundations to better collaborate with teammates with different backgrounds
System-Level Design and Analysis: Understand the requirements flow down process and be able to quickly iterate on evolving requirements
Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively convey ideas and communicate technical topics with engineering, build staff, and operations; run self-directed design reviews and participate in reviews of parallel systems
Anticipation of Needs: Identify problems, think creatively, and rapidly produce reliable and cost-effective solutions to meet the ever growing and changing needs of an early-stage company

Responsibilities

  • Lead embedded-level technical onboarding for enterprise customers, including integration, troubleshooting, and enablement of Hubble’s SDK on Bluetooth® Low Energy-capable hardware.
  • Develop chip-specific reference applications for popular SoCs and platforms supported by the Hubble Network.
  • Support customer firmware teams via code reviews, debugging, debugging, driver configuration, and alignment on provisioning and OTA strategies.
  • Translate integration learnings into reusable modules, tools, and documentation to enhance our SDK and streamline future customer engagements.
  • Partner with the core SDK team to prioritize scalable, reusable improvements informed by real-world customer feedback.
  • Act as an internal advocate for customer needs, identifying and resolving friction points in the integration process.

How We Work
Hands-On Engineering: We value engineers who can move seamlessly between architecture, implementation, and debugging. You will work with real hardware and real customer constraints daily.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will interface closely with the core SDK team, RF engineers, and operations staff to ensure customer integrations are set up for long-term success.
Tools: We use modern development tools including AI, Git, Jira, and Confluence. Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, with extensive hands-on work on Bluetooth®Low Energy-enabled devices.
  • Strong background in C/C++ firmware development.
  • Familiarity with Zephyr RTOS, Nordic SDK, or TI SimpleLink is required.
  • 3+ years of experience working directly with customers, supporting hardware bring-up in thefield, or delivering production-grade embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of OTA workflows, power optimization, and memory-constrainedenvironments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of guiding less-experiencedengineering teams toward successful outcomes.
  • Hands-on expertise with embedded build systems (e.g., CMake, Make) and cross-compilation toolchains, including porting and optimizing for constrained targets.
  • Cryptographic know-how; experience with PSA or TF-M is a plus.

Strongly Preferred

  • Prior experience with IoT platforms, asset tracking, or connectivity products at scale.
