We are seeking a Senior Director, eCommerce Strategy, to join our Global eCommerce and Digital Identity Strategy team. This senior leader will define and drive Visa global eCommerce strategy to achieve ambitious growth objectives, owning the end‑to‑end strategic agenda: from identifying new drivers of growth (e.g., underpenetrated verticals, identity) and shaping product‑level strategies (e.g., scaling Passkeys) across the authentication ecosystem, to partnering with regions to accelerate priority markets (e.g., wallets strategy in emerging markets).

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine Visa global eCommerce strategy, in alignment with our 2030 initiatives and business objectives.
  • Identify and size new drivers of eCommerce growth (e.g., performance, underpenetrated verticals, new value propositions, etc.)
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, competitive threats, and partnership opportunities across eCommerce, digital payments, and adjacent sectors.
  • Define product‑level strategies across the authentication and eCommerce portfolio
  • Lead priority market acceleration initiatives with regions. Feed learnings back into global strategy & product development
  • Structure and solve ecommerce-related business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues.
  • Partner with Regional Products, Partnerships, and Platforms teams to influence roadmaps and drive adoption
  • Translate strategy into execution: clear priorities, OKRs, metrics, and operating cadence
  • Develop clear and concise executive level communications. Influence senior global and regional stakeholders to drive alignment and decision‑making
  • Build and lead a high‑performing strategy and program leadership team

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
