Accountabilities
In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, data modeling, and visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and support strategic business decisions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain data models ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across sources
- Create and automate dashboards and reports using modern BI tools, primarily Looker
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate objectives into data-driven solutions
- Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to solve business problems
- Work with IT and engineering teams to improve data pipelines and data quality
- Evolve reporting from descriptive analytics toward predictive and proactive insights
- Mentor junior analysts and promote a strong data-driven culture across the organization
- Continuously explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies in data analytics
- Quickly adapt to new datasets and deliver insights under tight timelines
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization principles
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or R for data analysis and automation
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience working with healthcare claims data is highly preferred
- Strong communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
