Job Summary

The Corporate Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting the Sr. Director Corporate and Retail Compliance with designing, implementing and monitoring Vistra’s Ethics & Compliance Program and promoting an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and ensures that business practices and activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will support the centralized compliance activities including Ethics, Code of Conduct, Antitrust, and Anti-Corruption compliance.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

Monitor the performance of the Ethics & Compliance Program and, with direction from Sr. Director Corporate & Retail Compliance, take appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness.
Assist with maintaining policies and procedures for the general operation of the Ethics & Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Assist in creating reports and presentations on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, present compliance efforts to the Compliance Leadership Team.
Work with compliance leaders to track required compliance training.
Lead efforts to update and deliver yearly, required Code of Conduct training as well as track completion.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

2-3 years Compliance, Regulatory, or Risk Management experience
Strong analytical skills, judgment and energy
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills

Key Metrics:

Work with operations personnel and management to update compliance metrics monthly and quarterly and identify and escalate variances as appropriate
Exercise critical thinking and problem solving to continually examine aspects of operations to improve and standardize processes across relevant organizations and teams
Ability to work with internal and external groups to create, launch, and track required compliance training
Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations as well as compliance best practices
