Sr Area Sales Manager
We are looking for a skilled professional with 7 to 12 years of experience to lead our sales team in the biotech/pharma industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and leadership, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth.
Roles and Responsibility
- Deliver sales performance and meet or exceed district sales plans within expense budgets.
- Optimize resource utilization by leading, developing, and coaching Sales Team performance.
- Ensure regular updates on Sales Team skills in medical, technical, and special in-field knowledge areas.
- Professionally manage cross-functional cooperation, lead, manage, and coordinate effective multidisciplinary In Field Teams.
- Align district priorities, activities, and engagement plans with brand strategy and national strategic priorities.
- Monitor and consolidate regional engagement and account plans to feed the brand planning process.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in sales management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in biotech/pharma sales or sales management.
- Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and execution excellence.
- English language proficiency (verbal and written) for all non-English speaking countries.
- Recognized as a talent developer in the local biotech/pharma environment is preferred.
- Marketing and other commercial experiences within the biotech/pharma industry are preferred.
