What you'll do The Senior Application Engineer for our Revenue Systems (Zuora Revenue) your role will be to deliver technology solutions that scale the Revenue and Quote to Cash applications and related integrations to 3rd party systems.. This involves close collaboration with teams across Business Transformation, Application Engineering, Application Product Management, Docusign Product, Data, and Integration teams. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager/ Director, Application Engineering. Responsibility Build and maintain robust data pipelines and API integrations between Salesforce, Oracle Fusion Financials, Zuora Billing and Zuora RevPro Develop and deploy AI scripts (Python/Node.js) and LLM prompts to automate the extraction of revenue triggers from contracts and documents Develop and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL scripts, and custom workflows to automate manual revenue adjustments and reporting Enable out of the box and build additional custom technical and AI solutions on top of Zuora RevPro to meet the business needs and support the DTS operations team on support issues Conduct triage and bug fixes for the support of the Zuora RevPro application and also the integrations from Zuora-Billing and Oracle ERP Cloud (OSS and AR) to Zuora RevPro Assist in architectural and integration design to integrate SFDC, Oracle Fusion ERP, and Zuora Billing systems with Zuora RevPro, and be able to use Zuora RevPro Dev tools for bulk updates via Zuora API, as per business requests Build automated observability and monitoring tools that flag data drift or sync failures between systems before they impact the month-end close Leverage a deep understanding of RevPro backend tables to navigate data structures, build complex queries, and facilitate advanced troubleshooting Partner directly with Zuora Support to drive rapid investigation and resolution for escalated technical tickets Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 7+ years of Hands-on experience with the Zuora RevPro technical schemas and configuration (SSP, POB rules, and event-based triggers) 3+ years of revenue functional knowledge, and experience in end-to-end business scenarios including Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition Processes for a global SaaS company 2+ years of Zuora RevPro implementation experience 2+ years of custom development experience including integrations, custom reports and ETL preferably on Oracle ERP Cloud in the Quote to Cash area Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting Proficiency in Python, SQL, or JavaScript for data manipulation and API consumption Experience with Zuora AI Help, Copilot for Analytics, or third-party AI agents for finance Experience building or maintaining Consumption Insights or ML-based forecasting models for usage-based revenue Experience with integration platforms (Oracle Integration Cloud and custom-built ETL tools Preferred Solid understanding of ASC 606, and experience with SOX compliance Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
