Our client is deploying the Oracle Symphony POS and its back-office suite across international markets. This role supports the configuration, integration, and documentation of Symphony for franchisees in Latin America, ensuring the platform is adapted to our client’s global architecture and regional operational needs.
This is a highly autonomous role for someone smart, self-managed, fast-learning, and capable of understanding how different technical pieces fit together. Consultants tend to work on isolated modules; this role requires someone who sees the entire solution end-to-end.
What You'll Do:
Oracle Symphony Configuration & Optimization
- Learn in depth how Oracle Symphony POS and back office are configured.
- Identify the best configuration options for each franchisee and market.
- Apply global standards and help refine them as new requirements emerge.
- Ensure Symphony is configured consistently across all LATAM deployments with Global Standards.
Integration Oversight
- Understand and support integrations with: nPOS, Mobile app, Web/app ordering systems, Kiosks, Payment providers, Fiscal solutions, Legacy ERPs and Backoffice systems, Legacy Inventory Systems, legacy Loyalty Systems and CRMs
- Connect the dots across Oracle consultants, who typically specialize in only one area.
- Ensure all configuration areas align into a cohesive technical solution.
Solution Design & Documentation
- Write the solutions as the team defines them, documenting decisions end to end.
- Maintain and update documentation as the deployment evolves.
- Ensure that franchisees and internal teams can understand and follow the documentation.
Global Menu Management
- Support client’s global menu management within Oracle Symphony.
- Create and maintain products, combos, condiments, and menu structures.
- Collaborate with markets (who handle price and localization) to ensure consistency.
Collaboration & Oversight
- Work directly with the Director of Solutions Architecture - Restaurant Tech and Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture for EMEA.
- Collaborate with and coordinate work from the Oracle implementation team.
- Support onboarding of an additional resource if budget allows.
What You'll Need To Succeed:
- Very smart, quick to learn complex systems, and fully self-managed
- Able to understand the full technical picture, not just isolated modules.
- Able to help define the solution, not only execute instructions.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Oracle Symphony POS (POS and/or back office) is a major plus.
- Understanding of POS systems in general or experience in QSR/restaurant tech preferred.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or C# (Symphony supports both; new features lean to JS).
- Understanding of system integrations and APIs.
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium is a plus.
- This position requires conducting business operations across the Latin America region. To perform the essential functions of this role, fluency in both Portuguese and English is required, Spanish is a plus.
Benefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness. We offer unique and progressive benefits, including a comprehensive global paid parental leave program that supports employees as they expand their families, free telemedicine and mental wellness support.
