Our opportunity:

Reporting to the Franchising & Development Director, the Development team plays a key role in enabling the company’s restaurant growth strategy by providing visibility, analysis, and insights on the development pipeline across the region.

The Senior Analyst, Development Planning & Analytics will support the execution and monitoring of the restaurant development pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of restaurant openings, closures, and remodels while maintaining compliance with development commitments. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Your roles responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain visibility over the regional restaurant development pipeline, tracking the status and timeline of restaurant openings, closures, and remodel initiatives.

  • Monitor compliance with franchise development commitments and provide proactive visibility on potential risks, delays, or deviations from development plans.

  • Partner closely with field development teams to align on pipeline updates, opening timelines, and forward-looking development forecasts.

  • Prepare high-impact business reports and executive presentations that provide senior leadership with clear visibility on development progress, pipeline health, and key milestones.

  • Develop analytical insights on development performance, including pipeline quality, whitespace opportunities, and execution trends.

  • Maintain and enhance development tracking tools and databases (e.g., Smartsheets) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across the organization.

  • Build dashboards and analytical frameworks that improve monitoring of development execution and support data-driven decision making.

Your skills and experience:

  • 25 years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy, development operations, consulting, or similar analytical roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and compelling presentations.

  • Experience working with development tracking tools such as Smartsheets is preferred.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, or SQL is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail when managing multiple data sources and timelines.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and present insights to senior stakeholders.

How to Get Hired at Restaurant Brands Intl

  • RBI is a franchisor, not an operator — the corporate team sets strategy, builds systems, and supports 30,000+ franchise restaurants rather than running individual locations. Tailor your narrative to strategic and scalable impact.
  • The 3G Capital operating philosophy (meritocracy, ownership, zero-based budgeting) permeates every layer of RBI. Demonstrating alignment with these principles is as important as technical qualifications.
