Role and Responsibilities:

Within a critical aeronautical program, the IVV Engineer is involved in the integration, verification, and validation of certifiable embedded software, in accordance with the DO-178C standard, up to certification audits and production deployment.

• Software V&V
  • Development and review of High Level Requirements (HLR) and Low Level Requirements (LLR)
  • Review and analysis of C code in critical environments (DAL A & C)
  • Writing and executing tests against requirements
  • Development of automated test procedures in Python
  • Execution of massive test campaigns (more than 5000 requirements)
  • Performance of open-loop and closed-loop tests
  • Testing on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches
• System integration:
  • System bench testing for engine control units (FADEC / APU)
  • Functional validation and software robustness
  • Analysis of results and investigation of anomalies
  • Debugging of legacy software using regression methods

Rôle et responsabilités :

Au sein d’un programme aéronautique critique, l’Ingénieur IVV intervient sur les activités d’intégration, vérification et validation de logiciels embarqués certifiables, en conformité avec la norme DO-178C, jusqu’aux audits de certification et à la mise en production.

• V&V logicielle

  • Rédaction et exécution des tests en face des exigences
  • Élaboration de procédures de test automatisées en Python
  • Exécution de campagnes de tests massives (plus de 5000 exigences)
  • Réalisation de tests en boucle ouverte et boucle fermée
  • Tests sur bancs Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)
• Integration systéme :
  • Tests sur banc système pour unités de contrôle moteur (FADEC / APU)
  • Validation fonctionnelle et robustesse logicielle
  • Analyse des résultats et investigation des anomalies
  • Débogage de logiciels legacy via méthodes de régression

Required Qualifications:

• DO-178C standard (DAL A / DAL C)
• C programming language (reading, analyzing, debugging)
• HIL testing
• Writing test procedures in Python
• Analysis System and software requirements
• Modeling tools: MATLAB / Simulink
• Speak English and French
