The Spa Manager is responsible for setting and executing clear short and long-term goals to ensure the effective operation and success of the Spa. This role oversees all aspects of spa operations, including service quality, guest experience, team leadership, and daily performance.

The Spa Manager is also responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities related to spa and wellness offerings. Ensuring exceptional service standards, enhancing guest satisfaction, and maintaining high team engagement are key priorities.

Additionally, the role supports the management of the Spa’s financial performance, including P&L oversight, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring robust internal control and auditing processes are in place.

Inspiration and Community Engagement

  • Act as an Ambassador of the Spa, representing brand values and maintaining a consistently professional image.
  • Build and nurture a Spa community, engaging both internal and external guests through meaningful wellness initiatives.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with relevant partners, including travel agents, wellness providers, and local organizations.
  • Ensure effective communication, engagement, and well-being support for Spa colleagues.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to promote Spa services and wellness offerings.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitors, including services, pricing, promotions, and positioning.
  • Host workshops, wellness sessions, and curated experiences aligned with Spa concepts and brand identity.
  • Ensure all Spa colleagues fully understand hotel policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance development discussions and support team members’ growth and career progression.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel management team.

Guest Quality and Operational Excellence 

  • Deliver and uphold exceptional, professional, and personalized service standards within the Spa.
  • Ensure all Spa colleagues consistently provide courteous and high-quality guest service.
  • Anticipate and accommodate guest preferences and special requests.
  • Conduct regular treatment and facility audits to maintain brand and service excellence.
  • Foster positive guest and team interactions, ensuring a strong service culture.
  • Actively promote Spa services and enhance awareness of wellness offerings.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with other hotel departments, with a strong understanding of Spa services across the property.
  • Maintain a strong presence within the Spa, leading by example and embodying wellness values.
  • Oversee daily operations, including regular walk-throughs to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Ensure Spa services and facilities remain competitive and aligned with market-leading standards.

Marketing of Spa Services

  • Support and execute Spa marketing plans, including digital, social media, and on-property promotions.
  • Identify new business opportunities targeting hotel guests, corporate clients, and local markets.
  • Develop pricing strategies for treatments, memberships, and retail products aligned with market trends and brand positioning.
  • Design and implement Spa programs, wellness events, and signature experiences.
  • Personally engage with VIP guests and potential members when required.

Financial Management 

  • Support the management team in ensuring Spa operations align with financial objectives and cost controls.
  • Optimize team productivity through effective scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures in line with the approved budget.
  • Drive revenue performance and achieve daily and monthly targets.
  • Implement pricing strategies in line with brand guidelines and revenue management practices.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly profit and loss reports.

The Fairmont Hanoi has official opened in the Vietnamese capital on March 30, 2026, making it the first Fairmont brand in the country. Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related function.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experiences in management position or supervisory position in spa, fitness, or wellness.
  • Previous fitness/ wellness, recreation background experience is recommended
  • Ambassador for well-being including a personal interest and lifestyle approach
  • Good in English skill
