Sourcing Manager
DHL Express Italy, the world leader in express transportation and logistics services and part of the DHL Group, certified as a Great Place To Work, is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join the Partnership Department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the operational services outsourcing team, with the objective of achieving the assigned departmental targets, in line with global and local strategy, business objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.
PROFILE
Experience and Skills
- Master’s degree (preferably in Management Engineering or Economics/Finance)
- Solid experience in Procurement or similar roles characterized by analysis and negotiation activities with suppliers / customers / partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced level in PowerPoint and Excel)
- Good written and spoken English (intermediate level)
- Excellent written and spoken Italian (advanced level)
- Willingness to travel within Italy

MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Management of strategic outsourcing for last-mile services and facility handling.
- Preparation of financial analyses of outsourced services to define the appropriate rates to be agreed with suppliers.
- Support to the manager on topics related to Service Partner compensation and in the preparation and management of tenders/quotations.
- Conduct negotiations with assigned partners.
- Liaise with functions involved or impacted by managed topics (e.g. Finance, Industrial Relations, Operations).
- Manage commercial relationship aspects during contract execution.
- Manage and update contracts (new contracts or amendments).
- Keep operational databases and contractual documentation archives up to date.
