Position: Solutions Architect

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: Raleigh, NC

DHHS DSOHF is seeking to hire an expert level Technical Solutions Architect for the Hospital Infrastructure Project. This position requires hands-on expert level of experience in a broad range of IT infrastructure communications and collaboration of IP Video, VoIP telephony system, digital signage, call recording, E911, satellite and over the air systems, smartboards, WebEx, IPICS, PRIs, SIP trunks, using various protocols and disciplines. Architect will use current, relevant experience and industry best practices to design and implement video collaboration, VoIP, Multicasting, Capacity Planning, Performance Analysis as well as work with third party vendors on design integrations.

Description (include but are not limited to):

· Provide technical expertise in development of system requirements, request for proposals, contracts for services, and serve as the expert in that product area.

· Provide IT infrastructure/systems support and transition knowledge to operations and maintenance support staff.

· Develop and review technical documents produced by the Vendor or other external sources according to internal and external security standards and policies.
