About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Solution Architect will be execution-focused, supporting the full data and process migration lifecycle—from discovery and scoping to deployment—in an evolving ecosystem of global clients and partners. This role is responsible for successfully solutioning the end-to-end migration journey, designing and building robust strategies to transition business processes and data from legacy systems into the Salesforce platform.
As a Solution Architect and a foundational hire for our Strategic Migration CoE, you will act as the functional and technical bridge, ensuring that business cases and data constructs are preserved or improved during the move. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the nuances of two distinct systems concurrently, ensuring that the migration of procedures is as seamless as the migration of records.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead for end-to-end migration solutioning for specific Salesforce clouds, ensuring a successful transition from legacy architectures to Salesforce.
Architect and design scalable migration frameworks that align with business goals, focusing on both the data layer and the functional process/procedure migration.
Define and oversee the mapping of data constructs from legacy systems to Salesforce, ensuring data integrity, relationship mapping, and business logic consistency.
Manage the functional depth of "Source vs. Target" systems, maintaining a deep understanding of how legacy business rules (e.g., legacy CPQ logic) translate into Salesforce standard features.
Lead functional and technical workshops to uncover complex migration requirements, demonstrating leadership in designing, testing, and deploying cutover strategies.
Expertise in User Journey mapping, User Story reviews, Data Modeling, and bridging the gap between legacy UI/UX and modern Salesforce Lightning/LWC experiences.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, driving conversations with business partners and Enterprise Architects to shape the migration roadmap and vision.
Lead customer expectations by negotiating solutions for sophisticated data conflicts and process gaps between the old system and the new Salesforce environment.
Guide customers and implementation teams on digital transformation best practices, ensuring the migration utilizes the most efficient Salesforce platform features.
Establish trust with leadership, promoting standardized "Migration Factory" processes that ensure high-quality, repeatable delivery.
Research and recommend specialized migration tools or AppExchange applications (including ETL tools) to optimize the extraction and loading phases.
Work closely with Delivery Managers and Technical Architects to ensure the technical execution aligns with the high-level functional solution and business case.
Highlight and lead risk areas in the migration solution—such as data gaps or logic incompatibilities—in a proactive manner.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in developing technology and business solutions.
3+ years of experience in client-facing projects with a focus on large-scale systems development and business process consulting.
Strong Salesforce platform experience with a deep understanding of the platform’s technical complexities and architectural governor limits.
Proven expertise in executing data migrations, specifically having worked on multiple end-to-end migration projects for enterprise clients.
Deep functional expertise in mapping business processes across two distinct systems (e.g., migrating from legacy CRM/CPQ to Salesforce Revenue Cloud).
Excellent communication skills are mandatory; must be able to articulate complex migration strategies to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Integration Architecture (Must have): Understanding of how data flows between systems and the mechanisms for high-volume data transport.
Data Architecture and Management (Must have): Expertise in ERD design, data cleansing, and managing high volumes of data.
Sharing and Visibility (Must have): Understanding how migrated data will be secured and accessed post-deployment.
Platform Security (Must have): Knowledge of data encryption, field-level security, and compliance during the migration window.
Salesforce Certifications Preferred: Application Architect, System Architect, and relevant Cloud-specific Consultant certifications (e.g., Revenue Cloud Consultant / Marketing Cloud Consultant).
Experience with ETL tools (Good to have): Hands-on knowledge of tools like Informatica, MuleSoft, or Talend for complex transformations.
Salesforce Data Cloud (Good to have): Understanding of how Data Cloud can be leveraged for data unification and ingestion strategies.
Industry Domain Knowledge (Good to have): Specific expertise in clouds like CPQ (Revenue Cloud), Marketing Cloud, or Industry-specific clouds.
