WHY WE NEED YOU? Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Network Products team to support the development of new network products critical to our cloud ecosystem. Your mission will be to design, implement, and maintain scalable and robust network infrastructure services in order to enhance connectivity features and ensure the reliability of our sovereign cloud offerings. YOUR FUTURE TEAM We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together. You will be part of a team of 7 engineers working across France, composed of mostly senior profiles. The team develops and maintains critical networking products, with a strong focus on system programming and connectivity. We follow a continuous improvement approach, adapt our own workflow, and dedicate time every Friday afternoon to learning, PoCs, and customer issue resolution. 👨‍💼 Your future manager: Charles-Henri GUERIN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE Design and develop scalable network products using Rust and gRPC Build and maintain APIs that power Scaleway’s networking infrastructure Work with PostgreSQL to manage and store service data Debug, resolve bugs, and manage technical incidents impacting customers Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, documentation, support) Take part in our weekly rotating on-call duty Engage in technical discovery and POCs during dedicated learning slots Continuously improve internal tools and practices Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly roadmap/bilan meetings Contribute to creating a reliable, efficient, and API-first networking platform ABOUT YOU HARD SKILLS: - Proficient in Rust with experience in developing gRPC APIs - Solid understanding and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL - Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, VXLAN - Familiarity with eBPF  - Nice to have:  Kafka SOFT SKILLS: - Collaborative and team-oriented mindset - Curious and eager to learn, especially about networking - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Autonomous and proactive WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT SCALEWAY ++++ Hybrid work: We offer up to 3 days of remote work per week.
