Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Consultant to design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable integration solutions between SAP and third‑party systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP CPI, API management, and integration lifecycle management, with the ability to work effectively across functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and develop integration scenarios in SAP CPI.
Build, optimize, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using adapters (SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDoc, OData, JDBC, etc.).
Establish and manage secure connectivity via SAP API Management and other SAP BTP services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for production systems.
Troubleshoot integration issues and carry out performance tuning.
Document integration designs, configuration details, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 4–6 years SAP integration experience, with at least 3 years in SAP CPI.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
Expertise in:
- CPI iFlow design, mapping, and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).
- Adapters: OData, SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDoc, JDBC.
- XML, XSLT, JSON data formats.
- API Management and SAP BTP connectivity concepts..
Understanding of cloud integration patterns, middleware concepts, and security standards.

Good to Have

Knowledge of SAP PI/PO migration projects to CPI.
Exposure to SAP Event Mesh, Open Connectors, or CPI‑DS.
Integration Advisor expertise for design governance and best practices.
Knowledge of ABAP for backend logic extension and enhanced integration capability.
SAP certifications (SAP CPI, SAP BTP)
