Software Engineer (Atlassian Cloud Project | Min. 5 Yrs Exp)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Mid-Level / Senior) to support a large-scale Atlassian Cloud migration project. This role will focus on engineering solutions to support the transition from on-premise environments to the Atlassian Cloud platform, ensuring a secure, scalable, and well-integrated ecosystem.

You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to drive automation, system integration, and data migration initiatives that enable a smooth platform transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the migration from on-premise systems to the Atlassian Cloud platform.

• Design and develop automation solutions to streamline migration and integration processes.

• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs and webhooks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability.

• Support CI/CD implementation and infrastructure automation practices.

• Contribute to solution design by applying sound software engineering principles and design patterns.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support during migration and post-deployment phases.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, DevSecOps, or production/platform support.

• Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (Python preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).

• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and data modelling.

• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and webhooks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Experience with identity and access management, including SSO, OAuth, and SCIM.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Atlassian platforms (Jira, Confluence, or related tools).

• Experience supporting large-scale platform migrations or cloud transformation projects.
