Software Engineer, AI enabled development
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to join diverse and meaningful customer projects
At Gofore, you’ll work on projects that genuinely impact the everyday lives and wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of people in Finland. You might join, for example, development and renewal initiatives in healthcare, early childhood education, or the transport sector. We also serve private-sector clients in industries such as manufacturing, where we support the digitalisation of product lifecycles and the integration of production and information technologies. Our public-sector customers include, for example, the Finnish Tax Administration and the KEHA Centre, and in the private sector companies such as Metso and Hiab.
In this role, you will
Build modern solutions with technologies that have concrete societal impact
Work autonomously as part of an agile team, collaborating closely with customers
Develop your expertise and influence both the direction of the projects and your own work
What we expect from you
Experience in working in security-classified environments or project experience within Gofore’s core domains, such as the digital society (public sector, retail and services, health, security) or smart industry (machinery, equipment manufacturing, production industry)
Experience with AI-assisted and agentic software development
At least 8 years of diverse software development experience as a consultant
At least 5 years of full-stack experience with some of the following technologies: Java & Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET/C#, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular
At least 3 years of experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server)
At least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure, plus DevOps practices
Strong consulting skills and experience working as a consultant in customer projects, a customer-centric mindset and the ability to communicate clearly with specialists from different fields
Willingness to work on-site at the customer’s premises when required as part of the development team
Excellent Finnish language skills in consulting work
A security clearance may be conducted for the selected candidate if required by the customer project.

Salary development
At Gofore, it is important that work is fairly compensated. Salary is influenced not only by experience and skills, but also by two of our core values: contributing actively to making Gofore a great workplace for everyone, and keeping the customer perspective at the heart of everything we do. In salary discussions with your manager, key elements include the feedback you receive, your billing rate (we are consultants, after all!), and your professional development.
Typically, the salary level for this role ranges between 4500-6000 EUR per month. In addition to the fixed salary, we offer bonuses based on your monthly billing. We will define the appropriate salary level as discussions progress and we learn more about your expertise.
