Social Performance & Community Relations Officer
Develop and implement Social Performance Strategy and Social Management Plans
Implement and maintain the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP)
Lead day-to-day implementation of the Grievance Mechanism
Proactively identify and manage social risks and Non-Technical Risks (NTR)
Maintain regular field presence in project-affected communities
Conduct structured stakeholder consultations and information-sharing sessions
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Monitor community perceptions and provide early risk alerts to project teams
Support social investment initiatives and community development activities
Ensure compliance with Company standards and IFC Performance Standards
Collect and consolidate field data and prepare regular reports
Liaise with regulatory authorities and HQ on Social Performance matters
Degree in Social Sciences, Anthropology, Community Development, Project Management, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of experience working with communities, preferably in extractives, infrastructure, or rural development sectors
Strong hands-on field experience and ability to anticipate social risks
Experience managing grievance mechanisms and stakeholder engagement processes
Knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and international social management frameworks
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and maintain strong field presence
Fluency in English and Azerbaijani (additional local languages are an advantage)
