Social Media Producer/Editor

New York, NY
Apply

First We Feast—the studio behind Hot Ones, Versus, Heat Eaters, and more—is seeking a Social Media Producer/Editor to create, produce, and edit compelling social-first video content across all platforms. This role will support the development of original concepts, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and platform-specific creative that expands the First We Feast universe and engages our passionate audience.

Why We’re Hiring This Role

In late 2024, we spun out of a parent company; throughout 2025 we completed our transition to an independent, creator-led studio. Now, in 2026, we’re making the biggest investment we’ve ever made in content, including doubling our social team to launch new, talent-driven social formats that drive audience and engagement and are built for brand integration.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the production and editing of new-to-world social original series, from concept development and creative execution;
  • Produce/edit social content that showcases and complements our longform content, including Hot Ones: behind-the-scenes moments, special events, and social-first creative;
  • Support in-studio and on-location shoots, helping with setup, filming, lighting, audio, and overall production needs;
  • Capture run-and-gun, day-of social assets during shoots, events, and activations.
  • Edit short-form video content for social platforms delivering clean, fast-turnaround, platform-native cuts;
  • Inform our social strategy by monitoring platform trends, creative formats, and new features;
  • Optimize video performance and guide future series development by reviewing and interpret social analytics;
  • Maintain organized project files, footage logs, and edit timelines to support efficient workflows.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of professional experience producing and editing social video content, especially within food, entertainment, or pop culture;
  • Strong shooting and editing skills — you’re confident capturing content on iPhone and cameras and delivering clean, polished edits in Adobe Premiere with the ability to work in-platform when needed;
  • A grasp of short-form storytelling and mobile-native formats, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts;
  • Awareness of internet culture, trending formats, food trends, and pop culture conversations;
  • Proactivity, curiosity, and creativity— you’re excited to experiment, iterate, and grow while supporting the Social Team.

To apply, please complete the online application and provide all required information. Incomplete applications or applications received outside of our careers page will not be considered.

This is an on-site position based in our Midtown NYC office/studio. Our team works together in person Tuesday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work from anywhere on other days. Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities.
