Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager leads the strategic vision, execution, and performance of Aspen Snowmass’s social media presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty through compelling storytelling that reflects the company’s premium, experience-driven identity. The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a data-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile destination brand environment. This role reports to the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing, Aspen One.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - 90,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Manage day-to-day social media channels including content planning, publishing, and community engagement.
- Create and oversee on-brand content including photo, video, and written storytelling.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, PR, Creative, Digital, Events, Mountain Operations) to support campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand innovative and relevant.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content and campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Lead social media coverage for events, activations, and on-mountain experiences.
- Support relationship building with influencers, creators, and brand partners; work closely in partnership with Brand + Digital Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Partnership, Events, and Mountain Operations teams
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual identity remain consistent across all organic social channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries and engage with the online community in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
- Coordinate with Paid Media teams to support social advertising strategies.
- Oversee content calendars, campaign timelines, and reporting deliverables.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field.
- 5 years of content creation experience, preferably in hospitality, tourism, outdoor, or lifestyle industries.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Lightroom, etc.).
- Knowledge of team leadership and performance management practices
- Proficient knowledge in developing and executing business strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals
- Proficient knowledge of market dynamics and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Proficient copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms
- High aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail in both visual and written content
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and digital best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Skilled in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborative, creative, and resourceful, with a passion for the mountain lifestyle and hospitality
- Ability to earn trust and respect from project stakeholders and influence decisions that need to be made to make the project successful
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings as needed to cover events, mountain operations, and content opportunities
- Must be strong/expert skier or snowboarder
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
• No adverse or hazardous conditions
• Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
