Note: The above information relates to a specific client requirement Role Description: The SOC Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the SOC. This includes ensuring the SOC meets service-level objectives, maintaining compliance, coordinating with external stakeholders and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily SOC operations, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response capabilities. Define SOC KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks for operational performance and risk visibility. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and career development for SOC personnel. Ensure alignment of SOC activities with organizational security policies and regulatory obligations. Coordinate with the Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and IT Operations teams for cross-functional collaboration. Oversee onboarding of new tooling, integrations, and process automations. Lead SOC maturity assessments and drive improvement roadmap initiatives. Represent SOC during internal and external audits and executive reporting sessions. Maintain readiness for major incident management and crisis communication.
