- Plant Coordination & Meetings: Prepare and host regular meetings with plants.
- Savings Tracking & Reporting: Extract and consolidate data from the system; create summaries and charts to track measures, compare results, and monitor savings progress.
- Container Forecasting: Collect and manage EU–China container forecasts from plants to ensure accurate planning.
- Transport Cost Analysis: Analyze transportation costs, with a focus on air freight, identifying opportunities for mode shifts (e.g., air to sea), localization, and cost optimization; review special freight and WILCO reports.
- Crisis Management: Provide support during unforeseen events
- Tender & Steering Committees: Prepare tenders, verify volumes, collect plant-specific requirements, distribute materials, prepare one-pagers, and actively participate in Steering Committees.
- Sustainability & Green Logistics: Support initiatives that drive environmentally responsible and sustainable logistics practices.
- Stackability & Utilization Projects: Track global stackability and utilization initiatives, working in tandem mode to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
- Implementation Support (Sea Freight EU-AP): Support plants in implementing new logistics service providers after tenders, including shipment tracking and coordination with external partners (suppliers, LSPs, customs, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- High English communication skills: very good language knowledge and communication skills in business handling environment
- Good communication in Chinese language (spoken + written): Mandarin (eventually Suzhou or Jinan dialect)
- German language knowledge is advantage
- Asian culture knowledge and open minded for other cultures
- Experience in cost analysis, reporting, and savings tracking
- At least 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, transport management, or logistics coordination, ideally in an international environment
- Familiarity with sustainability and green logistics initiatives.
- Strong collaboration skills with plants, suppliers, LSPs, and customs authorities.
- Analytical mindset to track utilization, stackability, and transport KPIs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP systems, Power BI Dashboards, MS Team
- Strong communication and representation skills in global meetings.
- Organizational ability to handle multiple tasks and daily operational updates
