Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cable Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in the design, installation, and engineering of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage power cables. The role involves end-to-end cable engineering activities, including design calculations, route surveys, installation methodologies, and coordination of jointing and termination works for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Your role

Cable design hands on experience.
Cable sizing and ampacity calculations.
Voltage levels 132kV, 275kV, 400kV and HVDC 500Kv.
Type of insulation.
Installation and Laying.
Cable laying methods.
Cable trench and duct bank.
Cable pulling calculations.
Route survey and desktop survey .
Jointing and terminations.
If experience in Sub-marine cables ( preferrable ).
Software CYMCAP etc.
Experience 5 to 10 years.
