Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. 

 

 

Position Summary

The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) lead purpose is to provide routine and complex procedures, using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.  Possesses the ability to provide quality care and are accountable for maintaining all skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe, effective and developmentally appropriate sleep medicine care to patients of all ages from neonate to adolescent. Along with other members of the care team, is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high standards of care provided by JHACH.

 

Shift:  3-4 nights a month and one weekend a month (Fri and Sun)

 

Qualifications:  

  • Current Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) credential by the Board for Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) 
  • A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement.
  • Two (2) years or greater experience in sleep technology with experience in pediatric care
  • Current Certification in Clinical Sleep Health required to qualify as a Tech III
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or successful completion of the course within one month of hire

 

 

Salary Flat rate of $40/hour Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
