Location: New Delhi
Position Brief: We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to manage and oversee daily operations for construction or engineering projects/ fit out activities on-site. The Site Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution, monitoring progress, and maintaining effective communication between the client, design teams, and contractors. This role will focus on ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope while providing technical expertise on-site and resolving issues as they arise.
The role will drive the seamless execution of construction / fit out, engineering projects by managing on-site activities, overseeing technical compliance, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
Primary Role & Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Site Engineer will be:
- Point of Contact for Project Stakeholders: Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related matters and ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
- Facilitate coordination and issue resolution among contractors, engineers, architects, and project managers.
- On-Site Project Supervision: Supervise and manage on-site activities, ensuring all tasks are executed as per project plans, safety standards, and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
- Technical Drawings and Documentation: Review and interpret project blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately, including construction reports, change orders, and daily progress reports.
- Project Monitoring and Progress Reporting: Monitor project progress and highlight any delays or deviations from the project plan.
- Coordinate corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Technical Support and Problem-Solving:
- Provide on-site technical support to address construction or engineering issues in real-time.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving, offering insights and technical feedback to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site, ensuring that all resources are available to avoid project delays.
- Ensure efficient use of construction materials and methods for optimal quality and cost efficiency.

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, CS, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a site engineering role, ideally within construction, smart city, smart building, IoT, or related industries.
- Experience in large-scale commercial or fit out
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting AutoCAD drawings and MS Project (or equivalent project management tools).
- Strong knowledge of site management, construction processes, and project documentation.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, Video Analytics, Access Control, PIDS, GIS/LBS systems, IT infrastructure (L2/L3 switching, routers, IoT sensors, servers, storage, firewalls).
- Windows OS support and experience with system performance optimization.
- Basic application troubleshooting and network troubleshooting
- Networking knowledge, preferably with a CCNA certification (or similar).
- Previous experience working with Smart City or IoT-related infrastructure projects.
- Experience with large-scale residential/commercial construction projects.
- Certification or hands-on knowledge in networking (CCNA or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- AutoCAD (for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings).
- MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
