Overall, the candidate needs to be experienced in the areas of embedded firmware/software development. More specifically, the selected candidate should: (1) Familiarity with both objective and subjective video image quality assessment methodologies (2) Good software development and debugging skills in C and C++, embedded programming experience (3) Understanding of Android stack/Platform Experience required in following areas but not limited to (1) Experience with Snapdragon software flow and ISP is a plus (2) Good analytical, problem solving and written communication skills (3) Background in computer vision, machine learning, sensor and color calibration, and Android development is a strong plus. (4) Solid understanding of camera systems and image quality evaluation metrics is plus. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
