Side Loader Forklift Operator

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an experienced Side Loader Forklift Operator to support our Vancouver manufacturing shop, based out of our Vancouver office located in Surrey BC (Office Location - 19175 - 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6).

Day In the Life

Operating a Side Loader forklift with custom attachment in a safe manor

Remove large wall panel systems from an assembly line and load onto shipping racks

Filling out all checklists and paperwork completely and accurately in a timely manner

Ensuring team keeps work area free from clutter, and recycling waste as required on a daily basis

Reporting all activities and hazards that may create an unsafe work environment

Others duties as required

*Please note only applicants experienced with Side Loader Forklift will be considered.

What We Are Seeking

Minimum 3 years' experience in operating a Side loader forklift in Manufacturing Shop/Warehouse environment

Combilift specific experience considered an asset

Valid operator’s license or certification

Must be living local to the Manufacturing Shop (Lower Mainland)

Manufacturing experience is an asset

Assist with loading and unloading trucks using combi and forklifts

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to absorb and retain information quickly

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, in a high-pressure environment

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Be proficient in communicating in English with others
