Shopfloor Software Specialist - III

Oversee, manage and maintain all aspects of the shopfloor software including design, testing, management and optimization. Identify and implement software solutions that improve shopfloor operation efficiencies. Lead in troubleshooting software related issues that arise on the shopfloor, ensuring minimal disruption to production. Assess current software applications to ensure they meet the needs of the operation and propose enhancements when necessary. Train and guide shopfloor employees on the effective use of the software systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Work closely with IT and operational teams to identify system requirements, technical issues, and system improvements. Ensure all software and systems are up-to-date with the latest versions and patches, organizing necessary upgrades when required. Keep records of bugs, troubleshooting processes, and software updates, documenting software-related information in a concise manner for technical reports. Effectively handle multiple project deliverables and meet established timelines. Help to establish and enforce shopfloor software policies, standards, and procedures. Coordinate with external vendors to manage software licenses, renewals, and utilization. Maintain user access and credentials, ensuring data security and confidentiality according to internal policies and regulatory compliance standards. Stay current on advancements in software technology to maintain the company's competitive edge.
