As a Shop Mechanic II your key responsibilities include performing advanced tasks in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment. Lead electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment. Critical for success is the ability to work independently and on a team, communicate effectively, be detail oriented, and problem solve. The salary range for this position is $27.00 - 35.50 per hour. This information reflects the expected base salary range for this position. Pay will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What it takes:

 

  • 2-5+ years of experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers
  • Aerial experience
  • Experience with DOT Inspections
  • CDL Class A and valid Federal Medical Card (desired)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Able to provide own basic hand tools
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
  • Diesel Mechanic Program completion and/or Master ASE Credits (desired)
  • Forklift experience – training will be provided (desired) 

 

 

This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Expected Salary Range
