SHIFT SUPERVISOR
MISSION
Achieve the established production and quality goals for the shifts assigned by applying and efficiently organizing and distributing the work within a production team of several workers
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepare equipment and workplaces and assign the operators to the various job positions depending on their technical knowledge and skills.
- Distribute and monitor the teamwork, as well as providing the necessary support for the correction of possible deviations.
- Train/coach new team leader/operator if Team Leader does not exist in the area and perform layered flash audit.
- Ensure OHSE policies and procedures are followed in the area of responsibility.
- Monitor and supervise optimal performance of people, workplaces and equipment, as well as controlling skills matrix (versatility)
- Fill in the required documentation at a plant level for production, quality, attendance, etc.
- Monitor achievement of established quality standards for processes and products.
- Authority to stop the production and deliveries in case that it is required.
- Report to Section Manager on the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios for the area of responsibility.
- Ensure appropriate administration and use of consumption materials.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily production meetings.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

Knowledge of quality, safety, people management, product techniques, or basic training in OHSE management is mandatory Knowledge of IATF16949 automotive standards/basics, VDA core tools, CSR, Risk basic thinking, KPI, statistic elements would be of additional value |
