03/12/2026 Brief Description: Electrical maintenance of the EAFs, Baghouse, Overhead Cranes, and Flux Systems. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform preventative maintenance, emergent repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment. • Work with millwrights and operators to perform daily maintenance and ensure work is done safely. Required • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Software, Siemens PLCs and software; low, medium and high voltage equipment; understanding of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. • Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives, good working knowledge and understanding of PLC’s. • Skilled at troubleshooting, problem solving and installation of electrical equipment. Preferred • At least 3 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment. • Experience with Robotics (ABB preferred) • Experience with Siemens PLCs and software. • Safety Coach knowledge. • Formal electrical, automation and/or IT training.
