Service - Warranty Specialist, Seoul, Korea
The position requires more than validating warranty claims. It also demands the ability to assess eligibility related to mechanical, technical cases and body repair concerns such as paint, corrosion, and structural refinishing. The role must recognize and evaluate risk implications caused by vehicle modifications, aftermarket accessories, or non-approved alterations, and understand how these factors may impact safety, performance, and warranty coverage.
We are seeking a specialist who identifies issues in the field, proposes improvement actions, follows through to execution, and stays focused on producing meaningful outcomes. The role acts as a connector across service operations, RTS teams, body repair networks, and insurance partners to ensure the warranty principles are properly interpreted, applied and embedded throughout the organization.
•Review warranty case and determine warranty eligibility with clear reasoning.
•Identify risks related to aftermarket accessories and modifications and reflect them in decision making.
•Provide ongoing direction to service center and bodyshop, answering inquiries and correcting recurring misunderstandings.
•Act as a proactive problem solver who discovers operational gaps and delivers practical solutions.
•Work with RTS, technical support, and quality teams through regular meetings to refine guidelines and build consistency.
•Evaluate existing policies and documentation and lead revisions based on real cases and feedback.
•Develop warranty materials, decisions guides, and field-facing document that drive clarity in judgement.
•Conduct training sessions for service personnel and ensure alignment with insurance providers.
•Monitor trends and warranty cost, propose improvement initiatives, and follow through to execution and field rollout.
•Manage priorities effectively and work collaboratively with managers and team.
· At least 3years of experience as Technical or Warranty team in the industry
· Proven hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience in a related position
· Strong attention to detail with an organized manner
· Team oriented mindset with effective collaborative skills
· Demonstrated ability to follow structured processes and maintain accuracy
· Strong verbal communication
· Time management and prioritization skills
· English communication ability is an advantage
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Prior experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
