Service – Bodyshop Field Technical Specialist, Seongsu, Seoul, Korea
This role for the Body & Paint (B&P) business is based in South Korea. As the technical lead for the Body & Paint Center, he/she will oversee technical matters related to body repair, paint, and mechanical/electrical work, establish standards and provide coaching, ensure high-quality repair workmanship, and continuously optimize and enhance the Tesla customer Body & Paint service experience.
- Collect and analyze repair quality data and customer feedback from IB & TAB and drive effective improvements and ongoing preventive measures.
- Lead to deliver the company’s required Body & Paint technical support, including but not limited to problem resolution and on-site coaching at site.
- Provide guidance to technical support specialists based on the status of technical R&D and developments.
- Strengthen the technical support team’s expertise, capability to resolve complex issues, and overall organizational development.
- Take a strategic approach to anticipate the resources, steps, and plans required to achieve business objectives, and adjust flexibly as needed.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams related to Body & Paint technology, including equipment partners and paint suppliers.
- Other duties: complete additional tasks assigned by management based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Prior experience in Body & Paint technical roles.
- Familiarity with professional Body & Paint technical knowledge.
- Strong ability to adapt quickly and respond flexibly to change.
- Excellent English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems.
- Willingness to travel for a certain proportion of time.
