This is an onsite role in EA Shanghai Studio where you will report directly to the team Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities
You will use and enhance existing game engines by developing on top of the current framework, improving functionality and performance.
You will conduct in-depth research into mobile platform engine architectures, infrastructure, and primary technologies to support cross-platform development.
You will improve and fine-tune game performance to ensure peak operation across multiple release platforms.
You will develop new tools and refine existing ones based on our current toolchain to improve development efficiency.
You will collaborate with game designers and art teams, ensuring that program functionality aligns with design requirements.
You will help create technical specifications and software architecture documents.
Qualifications
Over 5 years of experience in game client or engine development.
Proficiency in C/C++, and programming and debugging skills related to relevant tools. Familiar with C#,Python, MySQL and use P4 or Git in daily development.
Experience with a commercial game engine such as Unreal or Unity.
Experience in engine-related tool development and game engine optimization.
Experience in Android and iOS platform development and debugging.
Good at communication and ability to collaborate within a team.
