Role
As the Senior Vice President of Business Development, you will lead Mastercard’s strategic growth initiatives across India, focusing on expanding partnerships, driving revenue, and unlocking new business opportunities. This role is responsible for developing and executing market strategies that align with Mastercard’s global vision while tailoring solutions to local needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead business development efforts across financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and government entities.
Identify and pursue new revenue streams, partnerships, and market segments.
Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, marketing, legal, and operations to deliver client-centric solutions.
Drive strategic planning, pipeline management, and commercial value propositions.
Represent Mastercard in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and public-private initiatives.

All about you
20+ years of experience in business development, preferably in payments, financial services, or technology sectors.
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering growth.
Strong understanding of the Indian financial ecosystem, regulatory landscape, and digital trends.
Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
MBA or equivalent preferred.
