Senior Veterinary Surgeon (f/m/d) - Intensive Care Medicine

Your responsibilities: 

  •  Leading role at the intensive care unit and collaborate closely with the existing team of veterinarians and support staff.

  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior veterinarians and support teams in intensive care medicine.

  • Perform and oversee advanced intensive care treatments and emergency management.

  • Develop and implement new medical protocols and treatment standards.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary patient care.

  • Participate in the on-call and emergency duty rota.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • A completed degree in Veterinary Medicine with a recognized specialist qualification (preferably Diplomate ECVECC/ACVECC or completed residency).

  • Several years of experience in a veterinary intensive care unit, ideally in a senior or leadership role.

  • Strong clinical skills combined with compassion for patients and their owners.

  • Excellent team player with a high degree of responsibility and strong communication skills.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and the advancement of veterinary medicine.

  • You are open to learn and speak german
