What does a Senior VAT consultant at Grant Thornton do?

• As a ‘trusted advisor’ you will be the first point of contact for our national and international clients.

• You offer support and high-quality technical advice on VAT to a diverse clientele.

• You work on specific VAT projects in the context of implementation, optimisation, regularisation and/or screening.

• You provide assistance during VAT inspections and you guide the client through regularisations.

• You guide and control compliance files, both for Belgian requirements and for international requirements.

• You work autonomously and independently to complete your assignments. You get the opportunity to work your way up to more complex cases.

• Collaboration with team members and with colleagues of other service lines is embedded in your daily work.

• Furthermore, you support the further development of the VAT practice in our Brussels or Antwerp office.
