Senior Transport Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Transport IT Analyst who is passionate about turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you’ll help shape the future of our transport operations by empowering the business to make smarter, data‑driven decisions. 

As a Senior Transport IT Analyst, you’ll be the analytical backbone of our transport function where you’ll work closely with both operational & business leaders to uncover trends, optimise performance, and identify opportunities for improvement across our network.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Develop high‑quality dashboards, reports, and analytical models that bring clarity to operational performance
• Translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that create actionable insights
• Lead deep‑dive analyses into transport efficiency, cost drivers, service performance, and network optimisation
• Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and provide Insights recommendations
• Champion data literacy across the team, helping others understand and use insights effectively
• Identify emerging trends and proactively highlight risks and opportunities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through evidence‑based analysis

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, or a related analytical field

• Advanced skills in data analysis & digitalisation tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, Python, R, or similar)
• A knack for storytelling with data – turning data into narratives that influence decisions
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and lead analytical initiatives
