Job Purpose

Ninjas in Pyjamas is seeking a Senior Team Operations Manager to lead and optimize the logistics for our esports teams. This individual will collaborate closely with the Head of Team Operations and work across multiple teams, driving efficiency and high performance. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive individual with exceptional problem-solving skills. They will oversee day-to-day operations while implementing strategies that support player wellbeing and team performance.


What You’ll Do

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Lead, together with the Head of Team Operations, the strategic planning and coordination of team operations, ensuring seamless execution of logistics for tournaments, travel, bootcamps, merchandise, and more.

  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and continuously improve operational efficiency, creating an environment where players can focus solely on high performance.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring smooth communication.

  • Collaborate with the Head of Team Operations and other Team Managers to drive operational strategy and maintain consistency across teams.

Player Wellbeing

  • Be a strong ambassador of NIP values, driving engagement and educating players on how these values support both personal and team success.

  • Proactively monitor and assist players in overcoming challenges, removing obstacles to performance, and addressing any wellbeing concerns.

  • Collaborate with coaches, performance staff, and other key stakeholders to ensure players receive tailored support for holistic wellbeing.

  • Elevate the player experience by continuously identifying opportunities to improve their environment, both on and off the field, fostering an atmosphere where high performance thrives alongside personal growth.

Administrative

  • Lead the strategic planning and coordination of upcoming tournaments and events, ensuring all logistics are meticulously organized and teams are fully prepared for competition.

  • Oversee inventory management for merchandise, equipment, and peripherals, ensuring players are fully equipped to perform at their best.

  • Manage key operational deadlines (e.g., roster locks, tournament invites, ticket requests), ensuring all are met with precision and in a timely manner.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in administrative workflows, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and support the broader team operations.
