In Short:
We are looking for a driven and hands-on Order Book Sr. Specialist to join our growing Regional Supply Chain Team EMEA. This role will suit flexible and ambitious professionals willing to develop their business acumen in the core of On's strategic operations. The Order Book role is part of the Sales Operations team supporting the EMEA region.
Your Mission:
- Own the order book for one dedicated European Distribution Center (DC). Responsible for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date order book, own all needed order adjustments (order release, launch date change, etc.), scarcity planning, rolling forecast, backorder clean-up, and ad-hoc trouble shooting.
- Be responsible for warehouse planning and volume forecasting, key sparring partner for our warehouse coordinator.
- Provide visibility of launch volumes and ship dates to DC.
- Ensure that allocation horizons are managed to capture launch demand.
- Be the “process owner” for strategic launches having a thorough understanding of all marketing and business needs and the ability to establish a standard framework and templates/reports.
- Work with and support other order fulfillment functions such as inbound planning, DC planning, inventory management, and customer fulfillment to drive On Time in Full (OTIF) delivery for launch.
Your Story:
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Very strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Systems and IT literate (MS suite expert, BI tool, and ERP familiarity a plus).
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Curious and positive self-starter with a "getting things done" attitude.
- Team player in a matrix organization and flexibility to respond to rapidly changing business priorities.
Attributes of a successful candidate:
- Technical (Job skills): Excellent analytical skills, including warehouse capacity planning; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with D365 is a plus; Effective stakeholder communication; Fluent in English.
- Non-technical (Behavioural skills): Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment; Proactive mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement and challenging the status quo; Self-motivated and action-oriented with a strong sense of initiative; Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences and facilitating ease of doing business.
