Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.

The Role:

As a Senior Specialist, Data Steward on the Global Master Data Team, you will lead a designated Product Master Data functional area for a global manufacturing enterprise. Partnering with the Global Business Process Owner and Product Governors in a hybrid governance model, you will curate the Business Term Glossary, embed Data Quality (DQ) controls, deliver practical enduser training, drive accountability across functions, and support expansion of Informatica IDMC/MDM360. This senior role suits a highly organized, analytical professional who turns business requirements into business results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Accountability Across Functions

-Facilitate governance forums, steward councils, and “data clinics”; align with Global Process Owners and Product Governors on decisions and escalations.

-Establish KPIs (e.g., defect rate, cycle time, duplicate rate, exception backlog) and hold owners to remediation timelines.

-Promote standardized ways of working and enforce adherence to standards

  • Own your functional data area (e.g., materials/items, product attributes, BOMs, classifications, UoM, GTIN/UPC) and set standards, controls, and ownership (RACI).

  • Curate the Business Term Glossary with clear definitions, lineage, policies, and traceability across NPI/NPD, engineering change, and lifecycle.

  • Design and operate DQ: define rules (completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency), scorecards, thresholds, SLAs; lead rootcause analysis and remediation.

  • Lead enduser training: live sessions, SOPs/job aids, and recorded modules; host via Teams and maintain a central SharePoint hub.

  • Support Informatica IDMC/MDM360: capture requirements, enhance data models, configure matchmerge, survivorship, hierarchies, workflows, and reference data; collaborate on IDQ, EDC, Axon; lead UAT and cutover readiness.

  • Ensure ERP/PLM alignment with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and downstream consumers; document processes (BPMN) and drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyze and automate using SQL, Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), Power BI, and Power Automate to reduce defects and master data lead times.

  • Mentor Junior Data Stewards in best practice and coach them to excel in role

What We Seek:

  • 5–8+ years in Data Stewardship/MDM within manufacturing; experience with large/complex datasets.

  • Deep Product Master Data expertise (materials/items, attributes, BOMs, lifecycle/status, UoM, GTIN/UPC, classifications).

  • Proven governance delivery: business terms, standards, controls, RACI, operating rhythm.

  • Handson with DQ rules, scorecards, remediation; strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills: Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot), Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate; Azure DevOps.

  • Proficiency in SQL and presenting findings through clear visuals and narratives.

  • Experience in designing and delivering training across time zones.

  • Bachelor’s in information systems, Data Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Outstanding Candidates Will Have

  • Certification / Deep Exposure to Informatica IDMC/MDM360, IDQ, EDC, Axon (or SAP MDG, Stibo, Reltio, IBM).

  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and PLM; GS1/UNSPSC; regulatory attributes.

  • Demonstrated impact (e.g., major duplicate reduction, faster cycle times, improved firsttimeright).

  • Ability to translate business requirements into IDMC/MDM360 configurations, governance artifacts, and DQ implementations that improve downstream reliability.

  • Strong instructional design and storytelling that raises data literacy and accelerates adoption.

  • Systems thinking—balances governance rigor with enablement; builds trust and drives decisions across functions.

  • High ownership, curiosity, and resilience in a global, fastmoving environment; proactively prevents data issues.
