Responsibilities:The TeamViewer Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform finds and resolves IT issues before they affect users. Over the past several years we have successfully built and released products which makes IT administrators day-to-day life easier. Our vision is to become THE unified endpoint management solution for our customers.
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer with C++ JavaScript/QT experience. You will play a key role in the integration of our observability capabilities (EC2, Ruby, NoSQL, C++, , QT) into our DEX platform. You will also play a key role in enhancing our existing observability capabilities to maximize value to our customers.
Play a key role in the formulation of the technical strategy to integrate various platforms and technologies.
Conducting spikes and PoCs to investigate integration paths.
Play a key role in the platform integration work
Engineering every aspect of the product across the full client stackAdhere to engineering standards: CI/CD quality gates, secure SDLC, and observability/SLOs.
Scale the platform to meet the needs of both SMB and large enterprise customers.
Requirements:
A university degree in the field of information technology, computer science and engineering or a related subject
8+ years of professional experience in the field of software development
Modern C++ (14 /17 /20) with Qt (5/6), (CMake/qmake), and packaging on Windows/macOS/Linux
Experience working with complex JavaScript (QT, Electron, Node, promises, functional programming)
Experience with NoSQL, JSON documents
Knowledge of networking, hosted cloud-based delivery
Be a fast learner and comfortable with new technologies
Experience in design, development enhancement of complex, large-scale distributed systems.
Understanding of Clean Code and Design Patterns for object-orientated programming
A positive and solution-oriented mindset paired with a structured and analytical way of thinking/working
Experience working with network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, SSL/TLS, UDP, SIP, RTP.
Familiarity with AI tools for coding (like Co-pilot) is a plus
Familiarity with concepts of end-user-computing and DEX is a plus
Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
Familiarity with Qt, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and SQL/NoSQL is a plus
