Key Responsibilities

Manages activities and the coordination of security services for a large service territory; develops and implements policies, practices, process improvements and operating procedures impacting assigned territory.  

Provide timely support to special assignment from superior.

Protect company intellectual and physical assets.

Establish, manage and maintain security systems including Access Control, CCTV and related systems.

Manages complex security improvement programs across business units.

Develops, implements, and manages the strategic and tactical planning for technical security systems.

Provide timely support to special assignment from superior.

Maintains liaison with security professionals, contractors, and local, state and federal law enforcement within service territories.

Key Responsibilities

1.Security Operations & Guard Force Management

  • Lead day‑to‑day security operations across the campus, ensuring full coverage and adherence to post orders.
  • Supervise and manage security vendors, staffing, shift schedules, and performance.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure quality, professionalism, and compliance of all security personnel.

  2. Access Control & Identity Management

  • Manage badge lifecycle, access provisioning, periodic access reviews, visitor management, and key/lock control.
  • Ensure adherence to global and regional access policies and lobby/entry standards.
  • Responsible for Shanghai HQ building floor warden project to promote and strengthen Applied China's information security and sensitive information protection level.                  

  3. SOC Oversight (CCTV/Alarms)

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of security systems including CCTV, intrusion alarms, duress systems, and SOC consoles.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, service tickets, upgrades, and system health monitoring in partnership with integrators and IT.

 4. Incident Management & Investigation

  • Serve as first responder/incident lead for security events, ensuring proper escalation, documentation, and after‑action reviews.
  • Conduct fact‑finding investigations and collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compliance as needed.

5. Assist with remote site offices security operations

  • Work with Sting to conduct annual site security audits across 38 site offices and 11 warehouses
  • Provide security awareness training and BCP site office specific table-top exercise

6. Risk Assessments & Compliance

  • Conduct periodic security risk assessments and maintain a campus-level risk register.
  • Ensure compliance with global security standards, local regulations, audit requirements, and data privacy laws.

7. Perimeter, Parking & Dock Security

  • Oversee perimeter protection, lighting, gates, and parking controls.
  • Ensure secure and compliant operations at loading docks and delivery entry points.

8. Employee & Pre-Employment Background Screening Support

  • Provide security support for employees and pre-employment candidate background screening processes
  • Act as the primary security liaison between HR, third party screening vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate case progress, documentation requirements, issue resolution, and timeline alignment
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding background screening status, procedures, and requirements
  • Ensure all background screening activities are conducted in compliance with company policy, local regulations, and data privacy requirements
  • Support and address compliance, data privacy, and procedural inquiries related to background screening processes.
