Kraken is a mission-focused company rooted in crypto values, seeking a Senior Sales Trader to join their OTC desk. The successful candidate will thrive in a sales-trading environment, managing client relationships and risk, and contributing to the desk's growth.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of trading experience
- At least 3+ years in spot and derivatives trading across financial services, FX, or crypto
- Proven ability to manage client relationships alongside real-time pricing and execution
- Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility, and client flow risk; crypto derivatives experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality execution in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
- Comfortable engaging directly with institutional and HNWI clients, handling live pricing, negotiations, and ongoing coverage
- Experience managing exposure across spot and derivatives while maintaining tight controls and attention to detail
- Familiarity with the full trade lifecycle—from pricing and execution through settlement, compliance, and post-trade workflows
- Comfortable with evolving systems, changing workflows, and creative problem-solving to meet client needs
- Deep curiosity about crypto, derivatives, and market structure, with a strong desire to stay ahead of trends and innovation
