THE WORK:
Ripple is a leader in crypto solutions, transforming how the world transfers, manages, and tokenizes value. We’re bringing the Internet of Value to life—and we’re seeking a motivated and dynamic Sr Sales Manager to support the growth of this crypto-enabled future in Latin America.
Located in São Paulo and reporting to the Sales Director, you will grow Ripple’s customer base in LATAM, focusing on Brasil. You will implement a targeted approach aimed at key customer groups. As an essential part of the Sales team, you will create Ripple’s sales strategy for the region. This involves engaging payment companies, fintechs, banks, fx brokers, and other financial entities.
This role focuses on taking initiative—creating and overseeing a solid pipeline, participating in events to grow a valuable network, and proactively identifying opportunities. The Sr Sales Manager will generate and advance their own leads with assistance from a local Sales Developer Representative (SDR). Ripple’s groundbreaking portfolio features Cross-border Payment, Custody Infrastructure, and Stablecoin solutions, allowing financial institutions to apply blockchain technology to reshape their operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hunter and natural connector with strong sales experience and a passion for new technologies. They thrive in markets undergoing major changes. They work well independently and also value teamwork, collaborating with sales peers, product, marketing, customer success, legal, compliance, and business operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Drive real-world adoption of blockchain technology by identifying and nurturing opportunities for its practical applications.
- Build and develop a strong pipeline aimed at payment companies, fintechs, banks, crypto exchanges, emphasizing cross-border payments, custody, and stablecoins.
- Take part in industry events to expand your network, establish connections, and uncover opportunities for Ripple’s solutions.
- Actively seek and build new opportunities while collaborating with the regional SDR for additional lead-generation support.
- Comprehend customer challenges and demands, customizing Ripple’s solutions to meet their particular needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to product and marketing teams to improve Ripple’s offerings.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to introduce a comprehensive suite of Ripple’s products and services to clients.
- Develop effective deal strategies, drive opportunities to successful closure, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve results.
- Travel frequently across Latin America to engage with customers and prospects.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- More than 10 years of experience in a consultative sales role supporting the Latin American financial sector.
- Proven success selling Enterprise/SaaS solutions and managing complex enterprise sales cycles using validated sales methodologies.
- Languages (a must-have): Proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly connect and cultivate relationships with decision-makers, including senior-level and C-suite executives.
- Knowledge of Digital Asset services space (Cross-border Payments, Virtual Named Accounts, Stablecoin and OTC) is preferable.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong prospecting and deal-closing expertise with a history of exceeding targets.
- In-depth understanding of the Brazilian and Latin American financial and payments landscapes.
