Senior Safety EngineerSummary:
•To develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve Nantong site Safety Management System, compliance with safety related government requirement.•Serves as site authoritative expert in the safety field, responsible for driving technical innovation, handling the complex safety issues.
Responsibilities Include:
- Take as one safety mentor role to new safety people, support new safety people grow up;
- Lead site safety standardization system implementation internal and external;
- Lead site safety production license upgrade every 3 years;
- Support internal (company part) and external (government part) new and existed standards/ new concept development , fully used specialized depth knowledge and expertise in safety area contribute to site level;
- Support site Safe Work Permit program, approve designated safe work permits;
- Support site new product introduction(NPI) or new product transfer(NPT) program, ensure site new product are compliance with regulation and consistent with business objectives;
- Support site safety regulatory required system or projects, develop solutions to fully manage new requirement/new issues, 100% compliance with new requirement;
- Support site compliance gap assessment, identify gap, achieve Capex budget and tracking gap closure;
- Support site construction safety and contractor safety program, manage part of project safety approval documentation per manager assigned;
- Participate site emergency response program and enhance ERT team member’s capability;
- Participate site fire safety and drive flammable liquid handling program, make site meet global MS standard and China local regulations;
- Support site procedure control, keep procedure compliance with regulation and global standard, keep 100% compliance with procedure;
- Support site HAZOP program and facilitate site LOPA implementation.
